A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer meet the needs of your website, or when you face continuous downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the support team to reply back to you, it may be a good idea to swap your provider, i.e. to move all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At FAZ Hosting, we know that this can often be hard and time–consuming. Because of this, we will perform all that for you for free!Our highly skilled technical team members will move your site content from your current provider to us. Our technicians have a lot of experience with website migration and are able to handle everything – from a regular WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™ CMS–based site, to a highly elaborate, custom–made app.

A: While we can’t give you a precise ETA, because there are lots of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll give our best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: We’ll need the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the website’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share literally the same info you have provided to your present web hosting provider. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate information is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your website will remain online during the migration. Once everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is fine, all you will have to do is update your domain’s DNS records.

A: While we migrate your web content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: We can transfer your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–driven hosting platform provided that we can acquire access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only web sites that we can’t migrate are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
